Banyo Veterinary Surgery is a family practice that has been a corner stone of our local community for 26 years.
We offer a wide variety of services for both Small and to a lesser degree, Large animals.

Our friendly staff are always happy to discuss Animal Health issues and we also provide an extensive range of over the counter pet products. These include foods, toys, shampoos and flea and worm control products.
If they are not in store, they can be ordered in at short notice.

We provide Consultations for among other things, Vaccinations, Heart-worming, Nutrition, Skin conditions, Pregnancy care, as well as Injuries and illness.

Elective surgery, including De-sexing operations, is normally performed on Tuesdays and Thursdays, while other procedures are attended to as soon as possible.
Emergencies receive immediate attention.

We are also happy to refer to Specialist practices throughout Brisbane for further treatment and more Specialised services in Dermatology, Cardiology, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Ultrasounds, Oncology, Feline medicine and Behavioural disorders.
We gladly discuss any of your questions prior to referral.

Frank Feeney
Veterinary Surgeon

Our Veterinary Surgeon, Frank Feeney, has been in both Small and Large animal practice for over 35 years. He established Banyo Veterinary Surgery in 1977 with his wife, Ruth.

Ruth Feeney
Veterinary Nurse

Ruth, a double certificate-nursing sister, is also the daughter of a Vet and now works as a Veterinary Nurse within our practice, so you can truly say it is "all in the family".

Eleanor Feeney
Veterinary Nurse

Eleanor is the daughter of Frank and Ruth, and another of our Vet Nurses. You'll find her in the office 6 days a week and she is happy to answer any enquiries you have by phone, or in person.

Kathryn Feeney

Kathryn is the youngest of the Feeney Family, but has already been a part of our surgery for over five years. Kathryn works part-time for us, around her university studies in teaching, but is always in on Saturdays.

Rebecca

Rebecca is a Veterinary Student at the University of Queensland and assists us, particularly on Saturdays, while she gains experience for her course.

Our other helpers around the office are Frank and Ruth's son, Patrick: "General Dogsbody", who keeps our computers and equipment running. Clare:  Their daughter and "Medical Consultant" (she's a doctor). Our Princess Parrot "Fido", who is happy to take your calls(!). "Dodge", our big, dumb, lovable dog, who doubles as a Welcome Mat /Reception Committee when he is here for a visit, and our shop cat, "Max", who is Chief Overseer and pretty, much boss of everything.

EMERGENCIES : Every effort is made to see these immediately during clinic hours, however, we know that accidents don't always happen at convenient times.
We operate a limited after-hours service and suggest trying to telephone first on the above contact number.

If we are unavailable several after hours emergency services operate in the Brisbane area.
